A note on the Bio-Augmenter:
Features of the Microbial mixture used in Augmentation.
The mixture is available in dry concentrate bacterial formulations, specially designed to provide waste degradation in sewage treatment.
a) Each gram of the product contains up to 4 billion microbes.
b) There are up to 60 -80 different strains of bacteria in each gram of the augmenter product which can biodegrade very diverse type of molecules.
c) Out of the above strains, only about 40 – 50 is actually used in Bio- Augmentation, and rest to camouflage the operatives.
